IEP's silent reading of Y1-Y5

IEP's silent reading of Y1-Y5. Students are asked to bring a book of their interest and read it silently. This activity is helping them develop the strategies they need for reading fast, and with better comprehension. This develops reading efficiency, and it helps students to read any text with maximum attention to meaning. Teachers gave assistance when needed, especially if there are words that the students don't full understand. It was a meaningful activity and everyone enjoyed their book.
